The Military Space Operations Training Center (CFOSM) was created to generate defense space expertise for operational purposes. It coordinates generic and specialized actions, and supervises the training procedure for certain training centers under the command authority. It also acts as the interface between all training centers and airbases, particularly for personnel reporting to the command.

Today, the CFOSM is the Space Command's armed wing for the generation of defense space expertise. Its main mission is to meet, maintain, reinforce and develop internal skills requirements. This approach is both current and forward-looking, in order to anticipate future needs (action in space, data science, AI, etc.). The challenge is to guarantee the level of excellence that the CDE implements in carrying out its missions.

The Centre de Formation aux Opérations Spatiales Militaires (Military Space Operations Training Center) offers annual general training sessions on defense space for new recruits to the CDE and, more generally, for all personnel within and outside the French armed forces who wish to learn more.
