The French Space Defence Academy is back !

For its inaugural event, the French Space Defence Academy (FSDA) organized a two-day seminar on the challenges and future prospects of the space industry.

The French Space Command (CDE), the French Air and Space school as well as ISAE-SUPAERO have jointly organised a two-day seminar on the space industry future challenges and prospects. The seminar goal is to promote the international training courses which they organise. The event first part took place on November 28 at the French Air and Space School, while the second part was held on January 9 at ISAE-SUPAERO in Toulouse. This seminar offers a comprehensive overview of the technological, military and operational aspects of the space sector.

French Space Defence Academy (FSDA) experts discussed various key topics such as: space surveillance, Earth observation, launchers, in-orbit services, space data processing, security, as well as economic and geopolitical developments. For this, the seminar aims to provide a holistic understanding of the complexities and opportunities in this ever-expanding field which gave the opportunity for each FSDA members to illustrate their expertise through various conferences and inclusive educational activities!

Through this seminar, the FSDA has contributed to the establishment of a defence space expertise network, from theory to implementation, which the CDE contributed to, thanks to its vision on military operations future issues and challenges.
