Nearly 30,000 French military personnel are currently engaged in various missions around the world. Here is a detailed breakdown of these engagements:
Nuclear Deterrence
The French nuclear deterrent forces include strategic aircraft and submarines.
National Territory
Between 6,000 and 10,000 military personnel are deployed within the national territory to ensure internal security.
Sovereignty Forces
