AsterX 2025 exercises the French Space Command units and partners with unfriendly nano-satellite drops.

During the scenario, an enemy mercurial shuttle drops a train of 6 unknown nano-satellites near a force observation satellite. The players determine that these are experimental nano-satellites, one of which, NORBET, appears to be equipped with an inbound maneuvering system. After a period of in-orbit testing, NORBET leaves the train to approach an enemy satellite positioned close to the force observation satellite. A threatening space ballet begins, demonstrating an orchestrated force maneuver. Suddenly, NORBET changes course, heading straight for the force satellite, ready to strike. The force satellite is threatened and could be neutralized. This attack triggers active defense reactions, coordinated by exercise C2, to stop the threat and protect our satellite.
